Terms & Conditions
Introduction
By accessing or using the services of Express Rancho Cucamonga Movers, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined on this page. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers who wish to engage with our website or moving services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, we recommend that you do not proceed with booking or using our services. Our goal is to maintain transparency, safety, and satisfaction for every customer throughout the moving process.
Scope of Services
Express Rancho Cucamonga Movers provides a wide range of local and regional moving services for residential and commercial clients. Our offerings may include packing, loading, transporting, unloading, furniture assembly/disassembly, and storage assistance depending on the individual needs of the customer. We operate within Rancho Cucamonga and surrounding areas such as Upland, West End, Rancho Fontana, San Antonio Heights, and Hunter’s Ridge.
The availability of specific services may vary based on scheduling, location, crew size, and seasonal demand. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm their required services in advance and clarify any custom requirements with our team prior to booking.
Service Reservations
All service requests are subject to availability. While we strive to accommodate all inquiries promptly, we encourage clients to make reservations at least one to two weeks in advance to ensure scheduling flexibility. Bookings are confirmed upon agreement on a moving date, scope of work, and—where applicable—receipt of a deposit.
We reserve the right to decline service requests that fall outside our capabilities, availability, or safety guidelines. Service confirmation does not guarantee unlimited scope beyond what was initially agreed upon during the booking process.
Payment Terms
All services provided by Express Rancho Cucamonga Movers are chargeable and subject to our current rate structure. Charges may be based on factors such as distance, number of crew members, total moving time, volume or weight of items, and any additional services like packing or disassembly.
Payments are typically due upon the completion of the move unless an alternative payment arrangement is pre-approved in writing. Accepted payment methods include major credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and cash. Any balance due at the time of completion must be paid in full before unloading is finalized.
In case of delayed payments or payment disputes, we reserve the right to charge late fees or take legal action if necessary. Clients are encouraged to review their invoices carefully and contact our billing department with any concerns.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We understand that moving plans can change. Clients may cancel or reschedule their move with no penalty if notice is given at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 to 48 hours of the scheduled move may be subject to a partial charge or forfeiture of the deposit.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may be charged the full minimum service fee. This policy is in place to ensure fair scheduling for both customers and crew availability.
In case of rescheduling due to weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to accommodate changes without penalty, subject to crew and truck availability.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to ensure clear access to both pickup and drop-off locations. This includes securing any necessary permits, reserving elevators (if applicable), and removing obstacles that may hinder the moving process. Parking availability must be arranged by the client in advance when required.
All items to be moved should be properly packed and labeled unless our packing service has been requested. Fragile items must be disclosed prior to the move to ensure safe handling. Items of exceptional value or sentimental importance should be transported personally by the customer, as we may not be liable for these under basic coverage.
Clients should be present during the move or designate an authorized representative to oversee the process and sign the required paperwork. In the absence of supervision, we are not responsible for claims arising from misplacement, damage, or property access issues.
Prohibited Items
We adhere to federal and local laws regarding transport safety. As such, we do not move hazardous materials such as flammable liquids, explosives, chemicals, propane tanks, or firearms. We also do not transport perishables, live animals, plants, or personal identification documents unless otherwise discussed.
Failure to disclose restricted or prohibited items may result in immediate service termination, cancellation fees, or additional charges.
Liability and Insurance
Express Rancho Cucamonga Movers exercises the utmost care when handling your belongings. However, despite our best efforts, accidental damage can sometimes occur. We provide basic valuation coverage as required by law, which covers your items based on weight rather than market value.
For high-value or fragile items, we recommend that customers purchase additional moving insurance from a third-party insurer. If you are unsure whether your current homeowners or renters policy includes relocation coverage, we suggest contacting your provider in advance.
We are not liable for damages resulting from natural disasters, weather, poor packing by the customer, or pre-existing damage to furniture or structures. Claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the completed move.
Delays and Force Majeure
While we strive to remain punctual, Express Rancho Cucamonga Movers is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. This includes but is not limited to inclement weather, heavy traffic, vehicle breakdowns, road closures, strikes, or emergencies.
In such cases, we will make every effort to keep you informed and updated about your revised moving timeline. Clients are encouraged to remain flexible and understanding in the event of such delays.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a move due to safety concerns, unforeseen hazards, or crew unavailability. If this occurs, a new date will be scheduled at the earliest mutually convenient time.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. All customer data collected through our website or in person is securely stored and only used to fulfill your service request or respond to inquiries. We do not share or sell customer information to third parties, unless required by law or necessary to complete your move (such as sharing your details with insurance or subcontracted service providers).
By providing your personal information, you consent to its use in accordance with this privacy policy. You may contact us at any time to review or request deletion of your data.
Modifications to Terms
Express Rancho Cucamonga Movers reserves the right to update or revise these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Updates will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of our services following such changes will constitute your agreement to the revised terms.
We recommend that customers review these terms periodically to stay informed about our policies.
